Reflection
On this First Friday, we honor the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the living symbol of God’s boundless love, mercy, and compassion. The Heart of Christ reminds us that true holiness is expressed not only through prayer but also through selfless love and service to others.
This is also the heart of the Spirituality of Pondo ng Pinoy—recognizing that every person is called to become a faithful steward of God’s blessings. Through Prayer, Simple Lifestyle, Stewardship, and Sharing, we respond to Christ’s invitation to love by offering even our smallest acts of generosity. Like the widow’s mite in the Gospel, every “mumo” given with love becomes an instrument of hope and a witness of God’s compassion.
As we contemplate the Sacred Heart of Jesus today, may our own hearts become more generous, humble, and compassionate, always ready to serve those in need.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, fill our hearts with Your love and mercy. Teach us to become faithful stewards of the blessings You have entrusted to us. May we live the spirituality of Pondo ng Pinoy by embracing prayer, simplicity, stewardship, and generous sharing. May every small act of kindness become a reflection of Your Sacred Heart and a source of hope for others. Amen.
