The Pondo ng Pinoy Scholars of the Diocese of San Carlos, in collaboration with the San Carlos Diocesan Social Action Foundation and the Pondo ng Pinoy Community Foundation Inc., participated in their monthly formation on October 29, 2023, at the Diocesan Social Action Center Office. The formation, led by the Diocesan Pondo ng Pinoy Lay Coordinator, Sr. Rely M. Mores, ADD, along with Pondo ng Pinoy Priest Coordinator Rev. Fr. Rick Beboso, primarily focused on the theology of the crumbs. On September 27, 2023, in the Diocese of San Pablo, at Nuestra Señora de la Natividad Parish located in Pangil, Laguna, a significant impact is being made on the lives of 20 Grade 12 students. These young scholars are beneficiaries of the Pondo ng Pinoy Scholarship program, which has recently provided them with vital support to ensure their educational success. The Pondo ng Pinoy Scholars of Nuestra Señora de la Natividad Parish serve as beacons of hope within the local community. With aspirations for a brighter future, these students were selected based on their financial and support needs, and their dreams are being nurtured through this scholarship project. The students have received school supplies, uniforms, shoes, and a 1st-month allowance. The impact of the Pondo ng Pinoy program on the scholars of Nuestra Señora de la Natividad Parish is already apparent within the community. As they are empowered to succeed, they are also encouraged to give back to their community, creating a ripple effect of positive change.
