Some of the feedbacks gathered from the participants were as follows:
“Give a man a fish, and you’ll feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you’ve fed him for a lifetime.” PnP is not just giving something that he needs for the moment, but a long-term solution of a community’s problem, that they help solve and own.”
“I’ve read it [spirituality] sa brochures but this time mas naintindihan ko in depth. This is what makes us different as a church.”
“Maraming natutunan… naligayahan and hopeful… realized that we are not short of options… try new approaches, paigtingin ang formation, tap more volunteers, catechists, maximize media….”
To make the sessions a little lighter, different sets of games related to the topics were held in between the modules with prizes for the winning
participants. The session ended with a challenge to the desks on how to creatively implement the program components of Education, Promotion,
Gathering of Crumbs, and Distribution of Crumbs in their respective dioceses, a key strategy being the echoing of this session to their Pondo ng Pinoy facilitators and implementers. A module on “Tips on Facilitating the Resource Manual” was presented for the participants to be more equipped on the use of the Resource Manual. They were also given copies of the brochures and videos that could be used as well. (Mayee Abear, PnPCFI)
