Pondo ng Pinoy Sunday e-News Letter The good news has spread! After the re-launching and reorientation held at the Diocese of San Carlos, see how our spirituality, the Theology of the Crumbs has spread in so many parishes and BECs immediately after the activity. All these for the mission of helping the least, the last, and the lost, and in anticipation of the coming of Christ this Advent Season as very beautifully described by Fr. Ricky Beboso in his homily reflection.

“Anumang magaling, kahit maliit, basta’t malimit ay patungong langit.” This Pondo ng Pinoy tagline serves as an inspiration sa akin. I am very grateful that I am chosen to be one of your scholars. Maraming salamat Pondo ng Pinoy sa binigay niyo po na opportunity sa akin, madami po akong natutunan sa buhay na aking madadala sa hinaharap. Ngayon po, ako ay graduate na ng Business Administration, major in Financial Management at the University of Cagayan Valley as a Cum laude, and I am very much thankful po sa Pondo ng Pinoy and to all givers who shared their small acts of kindness. Thank you once again for being with me in this life’s journey. Pondo ng Pinoy Sunday for October 2022

WORLD SMILE DAY!
Happy World Smile Day mga Ka-Pondo! World Smile Day is a symbol of goodwill and good cheer on the planet. As we celebrate International Smile Day, let us smile on the successful journey of one of the scholars of the Pondo ng Pinoy Education Project. Janna Fhe Maniego, 18 years old, of Pakil, Laguna, is a Pondo ng Pinoy scholar from the Diocese of San Pablo who graduated with high honors (Mataas na Karangalan) from Senior High School. It is a testimony of how far the crumbs or “Barya” that you shared have gone a long way, and that Pondo ng Pinoy is truly making a difference in the lives of underprivileged families. Maraming salamat! ” -Jhanna Fhe Maniego, Pondo ng Pinoy Scholar Continue sharing your LOVE with Pondo ng Pinoy so that we can continue to bring smiles to our less fortunate brothers and sisters. ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI PRAYER OF PEACE
Pondo ng Pinoy Sunday for September 2022
Indifference. Act of omission. Not doing anything. This month’s Pondo ng Pinoy Sunday gospel reading is none other than The Rich Man and Lazarus from which our unique spirituality, the Theology of the Crumbs was taken from. The beautiful reflection of Fr. Nong Castaneda is concretely responded to with their efforts at helping the poor farmers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. And true to Laudato Si’, see the potential of these organic farms both to the partner beneficiaries and to the farmlands. “ANUMANG MAGALING, KAHIT MALIIT, BASTA’T MALIMIT AY PATUNGONG LANGIT.”
INTERNATIONAL DAY OF CHARITY
As we celebrate International Day of Charity today, continue our unwavering commitment to evangelize both the receivers and givers into the way of life of regular small acts of kindness towards neighbors, especially of poor and marginalized, in the hope to achieve the fullness of one’s life. As Mother Teresa of Calcutta said: “NOT ALL OF US CAN DO GREAT THINGS. BUT WE CAN DO SMALL THINGS WITH GREAT LOVE.” It reflects the heart of Pondo ng Pinoy, that through our collective small acts of kindness, it will reach the least, the last, and the lost in the community all over the Philippines. For the past 18 years, Pondo ng Pinoy has proven its commitment to serving the poor while continually bringing inspiration from the concept of “Barya” as a symbol of small acts of kindness. From 2004 to the present, we have distributed the crumbs we have gathered through qualified socio-economic projects that benefitted thousands of poor individuals and communities through our supported feeding programs, education programs, other health and nutrition projects, housing, and livelihood programs. Over the years, the impact of the Foundation for both givers and receivers has been a positive affirmation to everyone involved in this lifestyle or movement to continue the good work and reach more communities that enable more people to live as good stewards of “kapwa”. To further reinvigorate the spirit of giving this International Charity Day, we encourage everyone to partake in this advocacy of regular small acts of kindness rooted in the love of God and neighbor as we contribute to making the world a better place. One person’s act of kindness can benefit the greater good of humanity, positively impacting more people than the giver realizes their donation will reach. ============== Like and follow us on Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/pnpcfi/Follow us on Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/pnpcfi_nmo/Follow us on Twitter:https://twitter.com/pnpcfi_nmoSubscribe to our Youtube Channel:https://www.youtube.com/…/UCQ_KdFBsSJLgehlclLeXb5g/videosWebsite:https://pondongpinoy.com/ ====================== “ANUMANG MAGALING, KAHIT MALIIT, BASTA’T MALIMIT AY PATUNGONG LANGIT.”#podongpinoy
